REGISTER NOW FOR THE MARDI GRAS RACE    |    CHEER OUR LADIES IN THE ABERDEEN DEMONSTRATION RACE    |

1) REGISTER NOW FOR THE MARDI GRAS RACE

Register now for the Mardi Gras Race which is held annually by the American Dragons for paddlers from all of the IDBC International teams.

This is a “novelty” race and usually provides a lot of fun.

Paddlers are allocated to the differerent boats randonly – so you’ll be competing alongside paddlers from other teams. The course is usually about 6Km long and includes various stops along the way to complete challenges (drinking contests, sports challenges and the like).

The afternoon concludes with a medal ceremony and an after-party on the beach with a buffet and free-flow beers.  If you register for the race please be punctual so that you can be registered and receive the event wristband which is essential to paddling and being admitted to the after-party.

2) CHEER OUR LADIES IN THE ABERDEEN DEMONSTRATION RACE

This Saturday 22nd February our Ladies are racing on a 2km demonstration event against Pink Paddlers, SMU and a Catamaran (yes, one of those things with sails!).

The racing will take place between 12-2pm at Marina Bay.   The event site is at the promontory.

You can find some general information and the race course map here:
